Profit & Loss statements, provide a summary of each job. The statements are sent to your accountant or admin officer, and provide a detailed overview of your expences for each job.

You can create P&L Statements (export) for any quote that has been approved (either by you or your client). To create a P&L Statement:

  • Tap “INBOX” from the main menu, then tap on “ACCEPTED”
  • Select the quote you want to generate a P&L Statement for. Then, simply swipe right on the quote and tap the “EXPORT” icon.
  • You will arrive at the Export Statement screen
    – You will find the quote Grand total and also the recipient email, make sure to add the correct recipient email address
    – Tap on SEND DOCUMENT
    – This document will now be sent as an Excel spreadsheet.
  • The recipient will receive the following email with an introduction and a link to download the document.
 
P&L Statement Contents

Statement contents usually contain:
– Client details
– Site details
– Job description
– All Service expenses including your services and contractor services from Price Requests
– All Material expenses
– Invoice totals, taxes and a profit margin.
– If you have generated a full or part payment invoice, the invoice breakdown will also be included in the statement.
