Creating invoices with QuoteUp

Sending an invoice to your client can be completed in 6 easy steps. Simply:

  • Tap the “CREATE INVOICE” button on the home screen
  • Add your client details, site details, invoice details and your pricing
  • Review the TOTALS page. Tap on the “MENU” on the top right to preview the invoice or edit markups
  • Select the “Deposit required” option if you would like the first invoice to be a request for deposit from your client.
  • If you are happy to proceed, tap “NEXT”
  • On the INVOICE DETAILS screen, you will see a summary for the following:
    Quote total: which is the total amount for the invoice
    The Invoice #: which is the number of part-payment invoices created for this invoice
    Amount = % of Quote Total: where you can edit the percentage amount for this invoice. For example, 20% of a $1100.00 invoice, will equate to a $220.00 invoice total
  • You can also preview the invoice by tapping the “MENU”
  • Then tap “GENERATE INVOICE”
  • The invoice has now been generated, you will be shown different options to send the invoice:
    1) Send invoice link: which is a web link to send a client so they can view and download an invoice via a web browser
    2) Save & Share PDF: Creates a PDF version of the quote for you to send to your client.
  • Select the option required.
  • Finally, you will be shown th share screen (screen below may vary depending on device). Select the recipient for the invoice and also the method in which you would like to send it
