Sending a quote to your client is made easy with QuoteUp, using the easy step-by-step process provided. Please use the folllowing few steps as a guide:

Step 1 - Add Client

  • Enter the clients details in the ADD CLIENT screen (You can also skip this screen if you do not have the details at that point).
    • This includes client name, email, title, company, mobile and office/home number.
      • If your client is already a contact in your phone, the will appear for you to select and transfer into the corresponding fields.
      • If the contact has been previously used, their contact details will appear for you to select and transfer into the corresponding fields.
    • It is essential to enter one (1) client contact detail in the Email or Mobile field (the generated quote will be sent to the client via email or SMS).
  • When the client details have been added, tap Next

Step 2 - Add site

  • Enter the site details in the ADD SITE screen (You can also skip this screen if you do not have the details at that point).
    • This includes the site address, Suburb, Postcode, and Country
    • If the site address has been previously used, the address will appear for you to select and transfer into the corresponding fields.
  • When site details have been added, tap Next

Step 3 - Quote Details

On this page you can start by adding your first quote detail by tapping on the “Add quote detail” button.

 

Once tapped, it will allow you to enter the details for QUOTE DETAIL 1, where you can enter:

  • Enter the Job Title of the job you will be quoting
  • Enter a Job Description of the job you will be quoting

At this point, you can add an image or files from your phone or use your camera to take images.

Once you have added the details, tap SAVE DATAILS.

 

You can continue to add details or tap NEXT when you are done.

Step 4 - Add pricing

Add pricing to your quote by simply tapping on the “Add pricing” tab. This will open up pricing options to separate your pricing into services and materials.

 

Once you have added your pricing, simply tap “SAVE”.

 

You can continue to add more pricing modules, when you have added all your pricing – tap “NEXT”.

Step 6 - Price Requests

If you require pricing from other contractors or trade services, you can send out price requests to multiple contractors.

If you do not require a price request – simply tap “SKIP” to go to the next page.

Step 7 - Totals

On this page you can check all your pricing before you send your quote. You can also add and edit markups, taxes and deposit amounts by selecting the MENU button on the top right hand corner.

Select the Deposit Required option if you need your customer to pay a deposit before starting works.

When ready, simply tap “SEND QUOTE” and your quote will be sent.

Step 8 - Sending options

Selecting SEND will show your sending options. There are two (2) options available for sending the quote link to your customer.

 

Send quote with other apps:
  • Will copy and paste the quote link into the app of your choice.
  • Send quotes from services like  SMS or email, this will allow you to add documentation, signature or introduction text.
  • Your client will be able to click on the link provided to view and download the quote and also approve or decline the quote.

 
Send quote link using QuoteUp:
  • Email or SMS will be automatically sent from the QuoteUp app
  • Please note the client email or SMS needs to be added in the ADD CLIENT step. You will be taken there automatically to add the client details if you have not already
  • Freemium users will only be able to send an email. (Please subscribe to be able to send quotes via SMS).
